Panama City Beach Offers The Ultimate Lifestyle

Panama City Beach, Florida is a great location for people of all walks of life.  PCB is a destination that is on par with many vacation spots such as Cabo San Lucas but much more affordable and buying property in Mexico can be a challenge.  Some people enjoy visiting the area for its many miles of beaches and exciting things to see and do. Other individuals are lucky enough to live in this beautiful, coastal town located in Northwestern Florida.

Things To See and Do

The city offers its residents, and many visitors, a ton of exciting things to see and do. The sandy beaches and waters of the Gulf of Mexico offer people tons of options for land, water, and air sports. Deer Point Lake, and its’ various bays, also offers a variety of activities such as boating, fishing, and skiing. Shipwreck Island Waterpark, WonderWorks Panama City Beach, Race City, and many other venues offer a variety of attractions to enjoy as well. Hikers, wildlife observers, and other nature lovers will also enjoy the St. Andrews State Park, Camp Helen State Park, and the ZooWorld Zoological and Botanical Conservatory.

Real Estate

The real estate market here has remained to be a popular area in Florida. This coastal resort city offers residents a variety of housing options to choose from. There is a variety of condominiums in Panama City, various sizes of single family residences, and manufactured housing options. There are also several luxury estates, if that’s on your list.

The median home price in the city is around $235,000. This is comparable to the median values of nearby Freeport and Lynn Haven. These values appear to be currently on the rise and indicate an opportune time to buy a home in the area. These rising resale values also suggest that now is also a good time for people who are looking to sell a home in the area.

Schools and Hospitals

Families make up slightly over half of the residents here. These families depend on the local school systems in Panama City for their children’s educational needs. There are 19 school campuses in the immediate vicinity of the neighborhoods. Some of these school campuses include Bay Elementary School, Patronis Elementary School, Break Point Academy, Emerald Coast Middle School, Surfside Middle School, South Walton High School,, J.R. Arnold High School, and Deane Bozeman School.

Medical assistance is also quickly available in the vicinity of the neighborhoods. The Bay Medical Beach Emergency Room is located near the beach. Medical attention can also be sought fairly quickly in Panama City by crossing the Highway 98 bridge. The medical centers that can be reached the quickest from this route are Panama City Bay Medical Sacred Heart and Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center.

Climate

Florida is known for its tropical climate. The winters are mild and summers are fairly hot. There is a good mix of sunny and stormy days. Majority of the rain is often during the late summer when the hurricane season begins.

Employment

Panama City Beach has no shortage of employment opportunities.  The various hotels, resorts, amusement parks, and restaurants support a wide and diverse range jobs. There are also regular city jobs to go around, such as hospitals, schools, and various government offices often associated with a city this size..

Panama City Beach offers its residents a variety of housing and job opportunities. Its housing market is currently on the rise.
